Streator Fire History
A book on Streator Fire history was published in September of 2015. The material from the book was compiled by a great friend of the Streator Fire Department, Mr. Shane Elko. Unfortunately, Shane passed away before his work could be compiled and published. The Streator Fire Department gladly accepted the role to compile the work and publish a history. We are grateful to Shane. Many of the stories published would have been lost to time without his dilligent work.
