The Streator Fire Department is a paid, career fire department that serves the City of Streator, Illinois.  The department was organized in 1887 and continues to serve the Citizens of Streator proudly.  The department has grown over the years to employ 15 full-time firefighters.

The Streator Fire Department’s mission is to preserve the life and property of the City of Streator and its residents through the prevention and suppression of fires and through public education.

The Streator Fire Department Online project has been funded by Firefighter's Union Local #56 and created solely by Streator Firefighters.  The purpose of this website is to educate and inform the Citizens of Streator.
